A Hundred Ways To Sunday With Companion Guided Drumming Journey CD
StoryLine
Mary Margaret Hathaway has been told by shamans the world over that she is The One. If only they had been willing to tell her what The One is supposed to do. Following synchronicities like breadcrumbs, she comes to her true beginning on the Navajo reservation in Canyon de Chelly, Arizona. With the desert to test her, she meets teachers in the form a 5-year-old boy, a 108-year-old-man, and a host of others in between. A story of the arduous journey to becoming who we really are, A Hundred Ways To Sunday offers hope for everyone who believes there is something more to this world than what our five senses can reveal.
Companion Guided Drumming CD
This CD begins with a 30-minute interview with contemporary shamans Robin Rice, Lyn Roberts-Herrick and Rosemarie Brown. It then offers a guided “relax and prepare” journey set to native flute music and then slips easily into a richly visual guided drumming journey where you will meet and work directly with Chief, Mary and Kenya—all characters from A Hundred Ways To Sunday. The final track gently becomes a track of solo drumming so that you can journey “between worlds” on your own.
The Healing
All of Robin’s books are intentional healing agents that work on many levels simultaneously. Reading A Hundred Ways To Sunday, you become reconnected to your own deepest soul urges and sacred calling. You again come to trust that you can “know what you know,” as well as discover a greater vision of who you are. Longstanding grief, feelings of futility for yourself and the world at large, and mothering issues can all be tended to through this novel. Reader Betty Lorenz said she “…grabbed A Hundred Ways for a ‘short’ break on my screened porch and read straight through...I'll NEVER be the same after reading this. It's hard to articulate but WOW....bells went off on practically every page for me!" MannaJo Greene put it this way… "Not meaning to, I found myself putting everything else aside…It felt like my own personal vision quest. The most experiential book I have ever read."
